Awkwafina

Awkwafina was initially an American performer and rapper, performing sly tunes that dealt with issues such as racial and sexual identities with a funny twist. Before expanding to Hollywood the singer was able to make a few songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical experience. She was a trumpet player. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was a teenager. In college, she studied journalism and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. Following graduation, she decided to concentrate on music. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a huge hit via the Internet and eventually appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. It also included other viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The latter song was linked directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in the year 2015. The singer decided to make acting careers after having completed her two previous ventures as a musician and author. In addition to early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's also appeared in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in 2018 with a few movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP In Fina We Trust.
