Anita Barone

Barone was Gail Cunningham in The Shoes from Seinfeld season 4. She was a chef named Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. In the early 1990s, Barone appeared as a regular on Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's previous wife on her debut Friends appearance. She left the show as she wanted to pursue an additional full-time job. She was replaced with Jane Sibbett. She had a role on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 through 1996 as well as The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. In 2000, Barone played a part in the show Daddio. Barone's television credits also include Desperate Women Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her role in the show One Last Ride. Barone is a regular character on Shake It Up on Disney Channel and began airing in the year following The War at Home had ended. In this role she portrays officer Georgia Jones who is the mother of CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Her husband, actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones the ex-husband of Barone's character.
